Finished everything to do with my new single, “All I Summon”, and it’s now available to download here!

Elec guitar was DI’d via a Marshall Bluesbreaker II pedal and the Joe Meek, and processed using the Caps Cabinet plugins (my Laney Linebacker amp sounds like a heap of cr** !). Synth was Zynaddsubfx, and the guitar solo was vamped, the fifth (and last) take used in the final mix. Enjoy !!!

Here’s a second draft of “All I Summon”….I added lots of backing vocals, and a bass track to it, so give it a listen if ye will !!
Electric guitars, synths and percussion to do, then all done !! (apart from the shouting…and final mix !)

Hi again !

Lots of recording on the way over the next few weeks…..
I’ll be posting news and interim mixes as I go, so ye can comment and download all ye want !!!

After a few false starts, mucking around with click tracks, different rhythms etc., this is a rough mix of the song, “All I Summon”, which contains 3 acoustic guitar tracks, left, right and center. The vocal was take three, which I edited some coughs and whistles out of Reverb is Freeverb, compressor on the voice is SC4mono, all is of course recorded in Ardour running on Linux.

Hi now ! Been a while…
Just a note to say that I’ll be playing tomorrow, the 4th of November, in HMV Music Store, Galway. I’ll be starting around 2.00 pm, and will play some songs from the upcoming new album….See ye there !!

RTE Radio 1 – Eleventh Hour Performance

Flirt FM Radio Performance
